Purpose
To cooperate with "Hakka Six Arrows - Youth Hakka strategy” initiated by President Lai, “2025 Global Hakka Youth Exchange Program” aims to provide Hakka youth with an understanding of Taiwan Hakka policies and encourage interaction among the new generation. Hakka Affairs Council expects to reach the goal of cultivating Hakka youth leaders with global vision and local commitment.

Applicant's Eligibility
I. The Taiwanese and overseas Hakka Youth who are between the age of 18 to 35 (Birth dates between Aug. 24, 1989 – Aug. 23, 2007)
II. The Applicant who has Hakka origin and background, or the applicant regards self as the identity of Hakka.
III. The applicant has the basic language proficiency of Hakka and English.
IV. Experiences in participating in Hakka public affairs or cultural activities are preferred.

Registration’s Eligibility Review and Admission Procedure
(I) Review Eligibility
The executive unit reviews the eligibility based on applicant’s qualification. The preliminary review is to ensure all submitted documents are
completed and qualified. If the submission overdue or the eligibility is unqualified, the applicant will not get the admission. Moreover, if the
applicant does not provide the complete documents, the executive unit will email the notification to remind the applicant to complete the
documents. The applicant will be considered withdrawn, if the required documents are not provided within 3 days of notification.

services, or activities. The primary 18 participants will be selected from each domestic and overseas applicant category, and the additional 20
applicants will be placed on a waiting list. To align with gender equality policy, one-third of selected applicants must be of single gender at
least. The applicant will be considered withdrawn if the applicant does not sign up on time or not be qualified.
II. Admission list will be announced on Hakka Affairs Council official website and Facebook Page on June 20, 2025 (Friday). Moreover, each
primary participant will be emailed the admission announcement. The primary participant must reply the confirmation letter and affidavit
Letter for participation within 7 days. If the primary participant does not reply confirmation letter or give up the admission, the vacancy will
be filled by the applicants on the waiting list in order. In addition, the overseas Hakka Youth must provide the proof of airline ticket copy with
the confirmation letter.

(excluding the cost of travel to and back to the meeting point) In addition, overseas participants are responsible for the cost of international
flight to and from Taiwan.
II. The certificate of course completion will be awarded to participants who attend the whole program and abide the program regulations.
III. If the primary applicant is unable to attend due to personal reasons, they must notify the executive unit within 7 days after the admission
announcement. The vacancy will be filled by an
applicant from the waiting list.
IV. The participant should attend the whole activity schedule after checking-in, following the regulations and adhere to punctuality and
discipline. Every participant must actively engage in teamwork, commit to group action, involve in all activities and cooperate with the
sharing of performances. If the participant leaves the program on his/her own without admission, Hakka Affairs Council reserves the right to
recover any expenses, and the individual will be disqualified from future programs or subsidies.

admission.

publicly on the internet and social media. Participants must submit Affidavit Letter and Copyright and Portrait Licensing Consent with the
Registration Form in order to be eligible for registration.
II. If the participant has special health conditions must note them on the registration form. If a participant has a serious medical condition
(including heart disease, cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, mental illness, epilepsy, infectious diseases, or any other condition that may affect
their ability to participate in the event), they should not register. In the event of any incidents from the serious health conditions, the
participant will be responsible for the consequences. Participants requiring the medical treatment or be hospitalized during the event must
cover their own medical expenses. Neither the participant nor their family members may make any claims or requests from the host
organization.

the executive unit and provide the proof documentation. If the participant who need to ask the leave must obtain the approval from the host
organization.
